InfoBeyond (InfoBeyond Technology LLC) was founded by Dr. Bin Xie in 2008 and has enjoyed years of business growth in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

Developing novel technologies, our dedicated efforts encompass prototyping, developing, commercializing new and useful solutions to enhance the capabilities of wireless mobile communications (ad hoc, sensor, mesh, and cognitive radio networks), cyber security, and information process. Corresponding products are designed to meet the specific government and civilian applications. Promoting innovative research, the team at InfoBeyond has been investigating the fundamental issues, such as mobile networking, mobility management, network capacity, network performance, information assurance, network security, image reconstruction, and data analysis on the distributed networking environment. The research and development of products are substantially supported by U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Kentucky Science and Technology Corp, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, and Kentucky New Energy Venture.

Our research achievements in the high mobile networks (e.g., airborne networks) include the protocols for directional antennas, networking configuration, quality of service, and applications (e.g., multicast and broadcasting), e.g., network coding and tomography to augment the ad hoc capacity in favor of information flows that could be randomly distributed among the networking nodes. Our accomplishments in the wireless network also include algorithms for spectrum sensing, distributed fusion, adaptive modulation, power allocation, and multi-hop route. In addition, our investigation spans through the sensor deployment, faulty sensor detection, distributed event detection and report, object tracking, security key deployment and management, and data fusion. In the wireless mesh network (e.g., IEEE 802.16 or IEEE 802.11-based mesh), algorithms and protocols for infrastructure placement, dynamic spectrum assignment, security, quality of service, mobility management, and handoff are studied from different aspects.

Innovative Thinking is the stepping stone towards success!
